On the morning of May 6, technicians from Sanmen Sanyou Technology Co., Ltd. were debugging a robotic stripping unit at the electrolytic workshop of Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group’s Jinguan Copper Branch. The robot strips and stacks reddish cathode copper plates. Outside, 17,300 stainless steel cathode plates were being loaded.

        “This is the first time Tongling Nonferrous is using a domestically made robotic stripping unit—previously we relied on imports. It’s also the third time we’ve purchased stainless steel cathode plates from Sanyou. The ‘Aolu’ plant will now be fully localized,” said He Meisong, Deputy Manager of the branch.
